arrgghhh mate!

the boys had a pirate birthday party this year. their birthdays are about 5 weeks apart, and this year i was super stressed and couldn't handle 2 parties a month apart  they begged to have a joint party! ;-) we went all out, pirate style! from treasure maps to sword fights to treasure hunts to find their party favors, hooks, eye patches, jewelry and knives, we had a blast! tons of kids came to help celebrate... you can imagine the mass chaos of 25 little kiddos running around sword fighting to jake the neverland pirate's themesong! the cake was super cute, thanks to laura bolcar for making it! i think we could have eaten twice that much, every single bite was in haled in about 4 minutes flat i think! :) the decorations were fun... nate and i made the posters, maps, and treasure chests! the boys thought it was a super cool party, and i kinda have to agree with them! :)) they got tons of presents and of course, trace is already asking when he can have another party. (crazy kid!)
