Corn on the Cob!

CORN!!!!!!!!!So this was my favorite part of Memorial Day... watching Trace tear up some corn on the cob! He saw Caden eating corn so then he wanted a piece. Once he started eating the corn, he wouldn't eat anything else - forget the bbq, baked beans, rolls, etc, just keep that corn coming!! He made the funniest faces but only a few were caught on camera. The ones at the end crack me up, they aren't the most flattering pics of my baby but he was throwing a fit when I finally took the 2nd piece of corn away and Nate had to clean him up. Ohhhhh good times! Overall, we had a very restful 3 day weekend... we spent a lot of time with family, Nate and I saw Prince Caspian with Rob & Amy, and we ate a TON of food! And we can't wait to go to Gatlinburg next Thurdsday with the whole Whitt clan - the countdown for vacation is on!!!!!!

Quirks about you? there's probably a lot... i hate it when ppl chew food loudly. ugh it makes me want to scream. therefore, i can't eat in complete silence. i at least need the tv in the other room to be on



How would the person who loves you most describe you in ten words or less? wow. that's hard. i hope he would say kind, considerate, fun loving, considerate, Godly wife/ mom, happy, unless i'm PMSing :) ha. maybe you should just ask Nate. :)



Any regrets in life? i try not to dwell on those things. but i'm sure there are a few regrets.



Favorite Charity/ Cause? the kids and medical clinics in honduras.



Favorite Blog recently? i always love laine's!



Something you can’t get enough of? my sweet trace carter whitt!



Worst job you’ve ever had? ummm looking back i can't believe i was a teller for 4 years. the worst part was definitely the day i got robbed so that will stick in my mind forever!



What job would you pay NOT to have? ummm i don't think i could be a garbage girl, i would honestly puke 24-7... i gag very easily!



If you could be a fly on the wall, where? ummm heaven? but i doubt there are flies in heaven!



Favorite Bible verse right now? my GOD shall supply all your needs, according to his riches and glory. (i've been having to learn the hard way that He WILL provide EVERYTHING i need, in HIS timing!)



Guilty Pleasure? too many involving sweets! love me some cold stone creamery sweet cream with caramel and heath bar - YUM!!!



Got any confessions? I kinda got hooked on watching desperate housewives after extreme makeover on sunday nites...



If you HAD to spend $1,000 on YOURSELF, how would you spend it? woah, i think i would go shopping and have a day at the spa. and stock up on coldstone icecream :)



Favorite thing about your house? we have tons of privacy, we are so in the woods!!!



Least favorite thing about your house? it's kinda small and we will totally have to add on when another baby is born



One thing you are bad at? ummm having patience!



One thing you’re good at? spoiling trace!!!



If you could change something about your circumstances, what? yeah, i have been complaining a lot but i said i was trying to trust god to provide everything... so let's just say it's in his hands!



Who would you like to meet someday? ummm lots of ppl.



What makes you feel sexy? ummm i feel much sexier when i have a nice tan on my body!! and when my legs are freshly shaved, and when i am 5 pounds thinner... should i keep going?



Who is your real life hero? my mom i think



What is the hardest part of your job? going every day after leaving trace at meme's. i am very very thankful that she keeps him but it is still so hard to be away from him



When are you most relaxed? When the house is clean, trace is in bed, and i can just sit down for a minute and catch up on some tv show or read a book. or maybe when i get a pedicure



What stresses you out? oh let's see... when things aren't in my plans but they happen anyways. like being off work yesterday and taking trace to the dr. like getting pulled over by the cop today but thank you jesus i didn't get a ticket. like when i was sharing my oatmeal creme pie with trace about an hour ago and i freaking chipped my tooth and i don't know if our dental insurance has started yet. OK i should have said LIFE!!!!!! i get stressed very easily!!



What can you not live without? Food and lots and lots of SLEEP each nite! and jesus should have been my first answer i guess...



Do you agree or disagree with the recent article that reported that blogs are authored by narcissists? ummm i'm not familiar with the situation



Why do you blog? It is a great answer to the question..."Whatcha been up to lately?" (i like page's answer!) also, to show off new pics of trace!

just so proud to be his mommy!!!

i just love this boy so much. there's not much more to say other than that! he and nate made my mother's day so special. i got a pedicure on saturday, and went shopping for some new clothes and flip flops, and then i also received roses and a very special drawing of trace from nate on mother's day. being trace's mom is the biggest blessing i could have ever asked for! nate and i took these pics, we had our own little photo shoot out in the yard and i am definitely pleased with the way they turned out! trace is 14 months now, he has grown up so fast! he is walking and running everywhere, of course he is getting into everything but that's what babies do - right? :) i love it when his sweet little lips say ma-ma-ma-ma-ma!! and da-da too!! we continue to praise god for all the blessings he has given us!!
