Celebrating NEW LIFE with Baptism

On Wednesday nite, December 7, 20011, Trace accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.
On Sunday, March 31, 2013, he chose to be baptized to make a public profession of his faith in Christ.
2 very important days in my boys life... sure does make this mama proud!
Uncle Josh got to baptize Caden and Laura Grace. When I asked Trace if he wanted Uncle Josh or Pastor Jerry to baptize him, he was quick to say PASTOR JERRY! :)

I also got to witness 2 precious young ladies get baptized. I am so super proud of them. It is such a priveledge to say at first they were our exchange students... now they are not only Sisters in Christ but really great friends of mine. God has blessed me by allowing me to mentor these beautiful ladies!
Hannah... I love you more than words can say. I hope you always remember this special day in your life... at little ol Argo Christian Fellowship! Thankful for you! :)

Patricia... you make me so proud. Despite your fear of tripping or doing something embarrasing, you chose to have a public baptism. What a great memory and I love that I was a part of this day! ;)
Nothing can really top those pics... but here are a few from the egg hunt at Meme and G-Daddy's later that afternoon! Tons of crazy kids waiting to hunt sugar filled eggs... it was madness!

I don't even know what to say about this! :D

Easter is always such a fun celebration... we have tons of family, and friends that think they we treat like family... more food than we could ever eat... great fellowship. laughter... love. joy. memories... and of course, the 9074 eggs!

Trace Turns Thitch

again... how in the heck is this boy already 6?! the year has flown by! trace wanted an angry birds cookie cake. so that's what he got! :D and he wanted to wear his angry birds t shirt for his party. again... he got it. we celebrated with just family over at meme's house. we don't really know a lot of kids in his class well enough to invite them to a party, and if you invite one you have to invite all. so anyways! we had lots of yummy pizza and snacks... and the cutest cake ever! it was so rich and delish, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. haha!!

trace and connor... brothas from anotha motha!

ohhhh and photo cred goes to Lib... apparently i lost my trace's birthday album on fb. or deleted it. or never posted it. yikes! so i stole the bffs who takes even more pics than me, if you can believe that! :D

so a little about trace... he has lost a few teeth and man, he is the cutest snaggle tooth ever! seriously. he looks adorable and sounds even more adorable. when he turned six he was so excited... and we giggled everytime he said six b/c it sount more like thitch. ha!
trace is 43 pounds and 3'11'... only 4 pounds heavier, and 6 inches taller than Luc, who is 22 months younger! trace is healthy as can be... he must have the same metab i had at his age... b/c he eats. and eats. and eats. and hardly gains a pound. i mean seriously. he and his brother are going to eat me out of house and home! :)
trace is so sweet. good natured. smart! he is doing SO good in kindergarden... which will be another post. but i am so proud of him. still can't believe he is 6 and in school. but i guess that happens to all of them. they grow. without our permission!
trace is just like his daddy was at this age... LOVES some ninja turtles! goodness we have so many around our house i could sell them and make some good money. hmmm. good idea? ;) he is also like nate in the fact that he loves to draw. he is the best little artist. so creative. and everything has to be perfect for him. we are working to accept the little mistakes tho, to make his life easier!
he loves jesus. loves to read his bible. sing praise songs. he is a great big brother and cousin. he is such a blessing to us and we are so thankful god entrusted our sweet bubba to our care.
we love you trace car and can't wait to see the young man god wants you to be!

the whitt big top!

who let this boy turn 4?!? i just cant believe it! times passes by sooo fast... kinda makes this mama sad!
since we took the boys to the circus for Luc's birthday... we went with a circus themed party. it was so much fun to plan! a lot of hard work and time, but turned out super cute so it was worth it! :)
in a way, it was a mothers worse mightmare... the menu included cotton candy, popcorn, and peanuts IN THE SHELL. what was i thinking?! but... i had to stick with the theme ;)) the party favors were in cute little popcorn boxes! and i think my other fav part was the photo booth... look how cute our little clowns are!! the party was a big success and lots of fun!

just chillin with some of his gifts! can you tell he loves a hot wheel track? :)

a few things about my big 4 year old lucas...
he loves a car/track/truck/tractor... you get the idea! i mean LOVES them! he is still ALL BOY... full speed ahead all the time... he sweats more than any kid i've ever seen. he'd probably sweat playing in the snow! ;) he loves to wear blue jeans and rain work boots and work gloves... he gets to play/work with poppi on thursdays after bible study and i swear the kid is never happier!! he is a very hard worker... whether it's wiping down the floors if there's a spill, or carrying wood/big sticks, planting the garden, helping poppi with the cars... whatever he can do hands on and get dirty, he loves it! he also loves to go fishin with poppi! he and poppi are best buddies!
luc loves to eat cereal just like his daddy! and the boy can tear up some yogurt. sometimes, he eats it 3 times a day and would probably eat it 6 if i'd let him! he loves a lunchable... esp the oreos! he likes bbq chips, red chips, and blue chips (nacho cheese and ranch doritos!) :) he loves some apple juice, just like his mama!
he is so creative. he has the biggest imagination... must get that from his daddy! i love hearing him play and sing in his room! he loves his family... still a big ol mamas boy! he tells me oftentimes when i'm dropping him off in the mornings- i just LOVE you. that's why i'm sad. :'( that boy... has his mama's heartstrings!! he gives great big knock ya down hugs and kisses!! ohhh... and he STILL loves his blanky. i mean LOVES. i've never seen a blanket make a kid happier! he sleeps with it all the time, and when he's tired, he takes the satin edge of it and rubs his eyes... it's just precious!
i'm sure there's lots of other things he does and loves... but this is it for now!
HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY to my sweet and silly, fun loving, loud and crazy
LUCAS JAMES!!

The GREEATTEST SHOW ON EARTH

On Thursday, January 24, opening night, we went to the circus to help celebrate Luc's 4th birthday!!! We went with Rob, (Very Pregnant) Amy, and Jack. It was a lot of fun!
Being the thrifty person that I am... I bought silly glasses, clown noses, glow necklaces, cotton candy, popcorn... basically anything we would need, at the dollar store before the show! It saved us SO MUCH MONEY. wow. The circus was fun but I could hardly justify paying $65 for 4 of us... If we would have bought any snacks or even the cheapest souvenier, no doubt we would have spent over $100 easy. Which hey, if you got it, spend it and have fun! But we gotta take a different approach! :)
