9 months!!!

can u believe it?? trace is 9 months old!! we went for his check up and he weighs 18 lbs 8 oz and is 28 1/2 in! what a healthy little man we have! dr. miller says he is just above the 50th % but everything is measuring great! i love this pic of him... he is showing us all 7 of his SHARP little teeth. how do i know they are sharp you ask? hmmmm. b/c his favorite thing to do is grab me with both hands and act like he is loving on me but really he is trying to leave me some love bites!! but he is such a sweet baby and we couldn't be more thankful for all the joy he brings us!

the next pic isn't near as cute... but i never post anything but pics of the babies! so here is mommy and daddy, getting ready to go to nate's work christmas party. meme watched trace so we had a date nite! it was fun getting all dressed up, but man, my feet hurt at the end of the nite from the 3 inch heals!! but they sure did look good!

SANTA BABY pics of TRACE! isn't he the cutest? we are loving dressing him up in all the christmas gear - so fun! we are so excited about trace's first christmas... can u tell?? most of these pics are courtesy of meme. wow. doesn't she get the best ones? and she has a house full of babies... wonder how she does it! i guess that's what makes meme (and bitsy!) so special, they can do things mamas could only dream about doing!!

Playing Hard!

I KNOW, I KNOW... i haven't blogged in FOREVER! but here are a few cute pics of trace from the past few weeks... he has 7 teeth now, is crawling EVERYWHERE, even up the stairs, eating table food, just growing up before our eyes! hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgving... we did. we have sooo sooo much that we are thankful for, our wonderful family being top of the list! we are so blessed!

Trace's First Turkey Day!!

8 months already??

trace will be 8 months tomorrow... i can hardly believe it! he is getting so big. november is quickly becoming a month with several "firsts" for trace! his 5th tooth came in over the weekend, so he will no longer be my cute little vampire :) he started eating table food on monday - we went to logan's for my bday and he enjoyed my mac -n-cheese and baked potato with me! and meme just called to say that trace is pulling up on the couch and standing. WOW! what else will happen? lots of bumps and bruises i'm sure! the overprotective mommy is coming out in me. but nate and i gave trace back to God the minute he was born, so there's only so much i can do!! i am loving this boy more and more every day. he is my little sweat pea!

tRiCk -oR- tReAt!!

well our first halloween has come and gone. but it was so much fun! i have been extremely busy at work and home as well so this will be short and sweet! trace was so funny in his little turtle costume. he played the part perfectly! kenley was the sweetest little lamb ever! caden was the tough dum dum eating football player, and little laura grace was an adorable kitty cat! we all hung out at uncle josh and aunt nae nae's house and we had a blast! what more could we want - good food, family, and lots of candy! (and cheesecake, b/c we celebrated my birthday which is monday!) can't wait til next year!! more babies = more fun!

my little pumpkin!

Who knew The Grand Ole Pumpkin Patch could be so much fun??? Saturday the 3 oldest grandbabies (that is so weird that Trace is not the baby anymore in the family. anyways!) along with me, G-Daddy, and Meme took a road trip to Clanton. And we had the best time!!! I was kinda worried before we got there, because Trace was so sleepy and fussy in the car. I just knew he would be ill and ready to go the minute we got there. NOT SO!!!!! Trace enjoyed every minute of the pumpkin patch... from the tractor pull to the covered wagon ride to pick our pumpkin, to the numerous poses with the scarecrows and pumpkins, he was SUCH a trooper! I am so proud of my little pumpkin. He absolutely LOVED the hay! So if there was hay, Trace was happy!! Kenley and Caden didn't like the hay quite as much as Trace, but I think they still had fun! Caden kept saying "ball" and trying to pick up the pumpkins! He thinks anything remotely round is a ball (pumpkin, cantaloupe, all sorts of things are balls to him!) And Kenley just wanted to know what the fuss was all about! All in all, it was a great day. It was actually a last minute decision for me to go, because I was supposed to have Inventory at work all day, but we got thru Friday nite and didn't have to go back Saturday! God is Good, All the Time. What a sweet blessing to have such beautiful weather and go to the pumpkin patch with the sweetest little pumpkins ever!!
