ok, so i just can't believe it... our baby is 6 months old!!! we went to the doctor last week for trace's check-up. guess how big trace is?? he weighs 16 lbs 3 oz, and is 27 inches long!! that is only 1/4 inch shorter than his cousin kenley, who is 9 months old!!! trace is getting sooo big!! dr. miller gave us a great report, and said trace is very healthy, and obviously is growing just like he should! he is in the 75% for his height, and between 25% and 50% for his weight, which is still good. poor baby had to get a toe prick and 5 shots!! but he only cried for a minute! and i didn't cry at all this time! i was so proud of both of us :-) so the pic above is just a sweet one of trace sleeping in his mama's lap. (which is the best sleep ever!!!) below is just another cute pose. he was taking a break from playing hard at meme's house.

That's what I was thinking too! 17 inches is so short! Noah and Anna were 22 inches long when they were born!
Anyway! They are so cute and Trace looks just like Nate in that picture of him "taking a break" - and I love bottle time - the only problem is SOMEONE NEEDS TO BE HOLDING THOSE BABIES!! Meme...Call me, I can hold one anytime you need me too!

ok ok, so i made a mistake :) i edited my blog which now correctly reads "trace is 27 inches long!" i was thinking his head was 17, but ya'll probably don't care about that! ha!! thanks ya'll, for actually reading this. i re-read it before i published it and still didn't catch it!

I love the baby pictures with all three cousins! They are so scrumptious and especially Trace! He has those kissable cheeks!
I love seeing your mom every week at CBS...she seems to be doing so great with her back, just make sure she doesn't overdo it!
