little stellan has been on my heart so much lately. he will have such a dangerous surgery tomorrow and i am so worried about him. i just can not imagine how his mom and dad are feeling right now... i don't even know if his dad can be in boston with them, or if he is staying home with the other kids. i just read all mckmama's updates and i just read them over and over like is this really happening? is she really having to type this out, about how if there are complications in the surgery it could result in her sons death? wow. please please please be praying for stellan. he has not had a good day at all and the surgery might end up being tonite if things don't get better. the following is from the latest blog and it just breaks my heart. you can almost hear how scared mckmama is.
"Would you pray that Dr. A will have wisdom as to if he should move forward with the ablation after the esophageal study? If he does move forward, would you pray that he will have clarity of mind as far as how aggressive to be with the ablation in order to fix Stellan's problem without putting him at undue risk for complications. Would you pray that the tiny catheters the doctors use will not nick Stellan's coronary artery? Would you pray for peace for me and my husband? Would you pray that heart block will not occur during the surgery? Would you pray that the extra pathways Stellan has will be located and successfully destroyed? Will you pray that, if they need to go through his septum, that it will heal as it should? Would you pray that in the days after the surgery (In infants, coronary damage sometimes doesn't appear for up to three days, so we'll be here for the rest of the week at least it looks.) we will cling to Jesus and not to fear? I was hoping that it wouldn't come to this. I am not going to lie at all, I am scared and have a pit in my stomach that will not go away. But peace like a river washes over me time and time again as I turn my eyes back on Jesus."
so please be in prayer for all of the above. i will keep you updated as i hear something. enjoy the pics of my sweet babies showing their support for stellan.

Easter 2009
we all had a GREAT easter! including lucas... it was his first ya know! church was incredible... loved the worship service! the big boys (caden and trace) danced and sang on the front row- it was great. trace told everyone "happy beaster" and "jesus is alive!" i just love that sweet boy!! after church we went to meme and grandaddy's house with the whole fam... lots of good food, tons of easter eggs to find, and just all around fun! this year i am extremely thankful for my wonderful family. for our overall good health, the love we have for each other, we are just so blessed! and this easter, i'm so grateful to our heavenly father, for being so selfless and sending his only son jesus to die for me, for my sins. my 2 boys are so precious to me and i just can't imagine what god went through so many years ago, and what jesus so lovingly endured for me. the best part about the cross is the grace and forgiveness that jesus offers us, and the hope of eternal life in heaven with him. i am so glad that all of my immediate family has accepted jesus and the free gift of salvation. i pray often that my boys come to know him at an early age and that he will use them for his glory. HALLELUJAH- THE TOMB IS EMPTY. MY SAVIOR LIVES!!!!!!!! enjoy the pics!

hodge podge...
so there are a few different things i wanna talk about. guess it's been a busy week- or maybe my mind just wanders a lot so i have so much to tell you. i think it's more the latter :) anyways...
Not sure if you may have heard Rick and Bubba or WDJC talking about this big event, Stadium Fest… Nate and I are going and probably taking the boys for part of it. It’s a totally FREE day, everything is FREE! Check out this website in case you aren’t doing anything that day and might wanna go. There will be tons of stuff for the kids… for the little kids, there will be Veggie Tales, Bible Man, etc, and stuff like an obstacle course and BMX Demonstrations for the bigger kids. And there are gonna be some awesome Christian speakers and concerts that nite for the adults. One of my VERY ALL TIME FAVS- JEREMY CAMP! it's been like 3 years since i have seen him in concert so YAY :) I am SUPER EXCITED and can't wait to go. Oh yeah, it's on Saturday, April 25. So anyways… Here’s the link to get a lil more info. http://www.stadiumfest.org/. it's gonna be GREAT!
next bit of news... please pray for sweet baby Stellan. i heard about him through a friend who had seen his story on his mom's blog. anyways, he was very sick with heart problems in the womb and the drs did not think he would live. and after periods of 24 hour prayer for this lil babe, whatdoyaknow... he ended up being born full term and he was perfect! no health problems at all. GO GOD!! but now he is sick and in the hospital. very sick. there are millions of ppl praying all over this country for Stellan. since hearing about him, i have started reading the beginning of his story (Aug 08) and it's amazing. his mom is an awesome blogger btw, and i love reading her blogs... she is also an incredible photographer and seems to have unwavering christian faith thru all of this. i feel like i know this sweet family. please pray for Stellan and his family... God has already worked miracles in his life and I know He has a great plan for him! (if this link does not take you there, i have it posted on the right side of my blog, called MCK Miracle)

ok now for updates on our life... everything is still going good. just hanging out, working, watching our boys grow! lucas is 2 months old, i just can't believe it! he weighed 11 lbs 10 oz and was 22 3/4 in. at his last check up. and just so you know, that was a weight gain of 1 lb 5 oz and growth of 3/4 inches in just 2 1/2 weeks! YES, my baby is growing like a weed. he smiles at us ALL THE TIME and coos and even laughs. he is so strong and holds his head up like he is 4 months old or something. i love seeing him grow so much but i hate it all at the same time :) my baby is hardly a baby. we had his baby dedication at church on sunday. it was a very sweet time and all of my family came to support us, even baby MASON- which is ANOTHER miracle boy! GOD IS SO GOOD TO US! so here are a few pics of the baby dedication and other random cute pics that i can't help but take of my boys!
nana made this beautiful dedication gown that lucas is wearing. trace said- "what's that mama." i wanted to say "it's a dress" but instead, for his daddy's sake, said "it's his church outfit!" hehe.
also love this pic below, where nate is introducing the whole family to everyone!
and here pastor Jerry is praying for us
they love bath time together!
love that lil fuzzy clean head :) and he's trying to suck his thumb. HOW STINKIN CUTE!!
trace loves his new motorcycle pj's. and look at lucas- he has big boy pj's too.yep, they match. :) can't help it. can you read them? they say "Rad Like Dad"
just so happy!!
just so happy!!
thought i'd end with some lyrics from Chris Tomlin's "Awesome Is The Lord Most High"
Great are You, Lord. Mighty in strength. You are faithful. You will ever be. We will praise You. All of our days. It's for Your glory. We offer everything. Raise your hands, all you nations. Shout to God all creation. How awesome is the Lord most high!!
