liberty day celebration

trace and i went to visit loni and her new house in columbiana... it was a long way from home (argo!) but we made it! we went to the liberty day celebration in down town columbiana. it was fun. there were kids clogging, tap dancing, and a few old men singing. trace loved watching everyone perform! then there were all sorts of arts and craft booths set up, and a little "carnival" area set up with rides and games and cotton candy. trace and i ate corn dogs for lunch then snacked on a shaved ice - my favorite!!! later in the afternoon it started sprinkling and we thought we could outrun the rain to the van... but we were wrong! we were soaking wet by time we got there, but it was still fun!! here are just a few pics of my crazy boy and me!
