look who got a new big boy bed??? yep. trace is officially BIG now. no more passie (finally!) and no more crib. where is my baby boy?? he is growing up too fast! our house is kinda small for the 4 of us, and b/c of that reason, we have kept trace in his crib up to this point. but when a friend from church graciously offered us this cool race car bed with box springs and mattress for FREE, we couldn't pass it up! and when mom and dad went to the beach with shannon and her fam and trace didn't get to go, we thought it would be the perfect distraction! and it has been! he LOVES his new bed. he says it's so cool. he's right!! he talks about it constantly, and can't wait for cadenwhitt to come spend the nite with him and share his new big boy bed! it is really cute! and hopefully we will be adding onto the house soon, and giving lucas trace's old room, and tracecar and his race car bed will get a new room! so ignore the orange stripes and dino pics on the wall, i am totally aware that the new bed does not match! and it doesn't really have bedding yet, but trace's quilt from bitsy works great for now! i am trying hard to go with the flow at this point in my life! yes, i would LOVE a bigger house, like yesterday, but in the grand scheme of things, our little family fits just snugly in our house as is! i am thankful for family and friends and know that the other things will all work out at some point. we hope! :) trace was so excited he was jumping on the bed!!!
and i love this one where he is checking out the cool flames!
and this one is probably my fav... sharing his new bed with his baby bro! SWEET BOYS!!
Very cool bed. My son would flip. Just a friendly reminder about tomorrow. It's another post on “What would your children say?” “Wednesday” It’s going to be fun sharing all those wonderful adventures our children do and say. If you don’t have a kid, feel free to post something about your furry four legged family member. I can’t wait. Please tell us all about them. Hope to see you tomorrow. Nate and I have been married since July 17, 2004. I love him so much... he is sweet, loving, funny, handsome, and so much more! He is the best husband and daddy I could have ever asked for! We have 2 wonderful, beautiful, sweet little boys, Trace Carter who was born in March 07, and Lucas James who was born in Jan 09. We are so blessed and love our boys so much. They bring so much joy to our lives. I have the best parents and in-laws. Nate and I are so blessed to have been raised in Christian homes with awesome, Godly parents. I also have one sister, Shannon, who is married to Nate's brother, Josh. They have 3 kids: Caden and Laura Grace, aka LaLa, and Timothy, aka Sweet T. :) Yes, our kids are double first cousins! And I have one sister-in-law, Rachel, who is married to Dalton. They also have 2 kids: Kenley and Mason. We are very close to our family and I love it! I am SO BLESSED!!
